It's
finally here, a release by the IL-FATED. IL-FATED has been a long
time coming. FDR is grateful to all people who were involved. There
was much input, lots of recording and just an all around good time.
For that we say thank you. Here it is, the first of 3 releases. This
EP. is Fire! First off is the track IL-Sexe. A smooth hip hop vibe
with a sax lick that's pure butter. Next is T-LO. T-LO is a live
bass & drum track, plus the magic of our man in Brooklyn: Taylor
Ryan. Track 3 is entitled "Fire". Its a strong Armageddonist radical
hip-hop track featuring the lyric's of Metaphysical. Finally is side
2 with Rhyme Flow featuring Metaphysical. Rhyme Flow is a dark scary
IL-FATED vibe that's sure to rock! Side 2 also contains an
Ilrocstrumental & a preacher acapella.

MATT ALAMANO

This
record is hot, original and raw, Alamano gives you non-stop live
drumming. One of a kind, "a must have for the break DJ".
Mykall POwell "Beat Dynasty". Alamano is one of the funkiest. DJ
Chach of "Funky Robots". "King of the beats" is 24 minutes of funky
drumming breaks. Central Cali' native, Matt has played up and down
California. Taught by some of the best, Alamano has honed his
craft into becoming a master drummer. "King of the Beats" is
Alamano's debut LP. A great record for musicians, producers, DJs
and anyone who appreciates live drumming. Available at most record
stores and on the web.

BEAT WRECKER

This is
our first release on the funkydope label. Released in 2000, it's a
12" single by the Beat Wrecker. Side 1 is entitled
Super Dynamite ,a funky breakbeat cut with 303 basslines and
nice editing. Side 2 is entitled "Her". It is s thick house cut
that kicks ass. The Beat Wrecker also has an electro remix of the
Bayou Bros. single "Smoke it fresh". |
FUNKY ROBOTS

The
Funky Robots create electro beats with funky breaks. They released
their first record in '97 and have three 12"singles out
to date on Funky Robot records. They have been complimented by the
likes of Uberzone, Acid Junkies and Adam Freeland.
The Robots have a mix for Dada Munchmonkey of Exist Dance Records.
The track is entitled "Outside Time".Also Funky Robots
DJ Chach and friend Russell Arteaga "Algorithm"
have a dope remix of the Bayou Bros. "Smoke it fresh" single.

METAPHYSICAL

Metaphysical is featured on the IL-Fated release "Fire"
(funkydoperecords.com). A blunt-puffin-philosopher
who wants to take your mind out of this common state
into a scope of daily consciousness. Born in Pasadena
and raised in a farming community in Central California,
METAPHYSICAL a.k.a. Philip Singer, first turned to
rhyming as a young child. Combining his words with
precisely produced beats to form mind blowing messages
with songs, get your mind ready for METAPHYSICAL.
METAPHYSICAL will be following up his debut record
"Intro" and the EP Fire, with a collaboration.
This will feature the talents of DJ Kaotik Harmoniks,
who also produces under the moniker Cortex Accelera.
Over the years, he has studied drums, piano, guitar,
and other electronic noise making devices. He creates
abstract electronic soundscapes with the intent of
invoking transcendental thoughts and lifestyles. To
date, his greatest musical accomplishment has been
attending Musician's Institute and allowing his passion
to become his primary focus in life. For more info
